Bokeh Dots Stamp Set Background Stamps

The Bokeh Dots Stamp Set is a great set for backgrounds.

I wasn't sure what "Bokeh" meant

So I looked it up!

Bokeh definition is – the blurred quality or effect seen in the out-of-focus portion of a photograph taken with a narrow depth of field

The Bokeh Dots set is a "DistINKtive" stamp patented by Stampin' UP

When stamping with these kinds of stamps, sometimes it's hard to get a good "cover" as the stamp really soaks up the ink

I found that if I used the Sponge Brayer, I got a better cover

Here's a card I made

I LOVE this simple, but effective way to apply the ink

Run your brayer over the ink pad just one way – if you run it back and forth, the ink will not stay on the brayer

Then ink up the stamp – and you have a great background
