Fancy Folds Card Class Card #5 Accordion Card
I found this card on Genny Valdes blog and just had to try it. It' called an Accordian Fold – fun and lots of possibilities!
Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Have a Seat (WM 116696, CM 120447, page 135), Timeless Treasures (WM 118748, CM 120615, page 135), Kindness Matters (WM 122900, CM 122902, page 121)
Card Stock: Wisteria Wonder, Very Vanilla
Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Soft Suede, Concord Crush
Embellishments: 3/8” Wisteria Wonder Ruffled Ribbon, Basic Pearls (119247, page 198)
Punch: Lace Ribbon (122362, page 211), Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309, page 210)
Big Shot: Ovals Originals Die (114525, page 220); Designer Frames Embossing Folders (123130, page 218)
Measurements:
Wisteria Wonder: Cut 1: 10 ½ x 4 ¼”
Very Vanilla: Cut 4: 3 ¾” x 3 7/8”
Instructions:
- Score Wisteria Wonder 10 ½” x 4 ¼” at 3 ½” and then flip card stock and score again at 7”. Fold accordion style.
- Using template, cut top pieces at an angle
- Very Vanilla Card Stock – cut top angles on each piece. Sponge each of 4 pieces first with Wister Wonder Ink, then with Soft Suede Ink, then again with Wisteria Wonder ink. Also sponge around edges with Wisteria Wonder
- Front Piece: Cut Wisteria Wonder piece 3 ¼” with Lace Ribbon Punch. Apply to bottom. Stamp on front. Add 12” piece of ribbon and apply to front panel
- Inside left piece: Stamp as desired and apply to left front
- Center Piece: Cut 3 ¼” wit6h Lace Ribbon Punch and apply to front bottom. Cut Medium Oval from Ovals Original Die. Line it up evenly in Oval Designer Frames Embossing Folder and run through the Big Shot. I adhered it with dotto, so it doesn’t slide when running through the Big Shot. Stamp center and adhere with dimensionals. Add small flower punch and Basic Pearls and sentiment.
- Right Piece – Stamp as desired and apply to right side of card
