Father’s Day Dapper Dad Interlocking Framelits

I found this idea for the interlocking framelits and just had to try it.  Looks complicated, but really very simple

This is a gatefold card – I will list the supplies and then give you the measurements

Stamp Set:  Dapper Dad (129195 W, 129198 C, page 14 Spring Catalog); Best Dad Ever (soon to retire 120399 W, 120681 C, page 27)

Card Stock:  Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Night of Navy, Very Vanilla

Ink:  Cajun Craze

Big Shot:  Argyle Embossing Folder (127750, page 189); Oval Framelits (129381, page 4 Spring Catalog)

The card base measures 11" x 5 1/2".  Score at 2 3/4" and 8 1/4".  Fold to center.  Stamp the shoe and Happy Father's Day and cut out with the 4th to the largest Oval Framelit.  Cut the Soft Suede with the 3rd to the largest Oval Framelit.   To make the Night of Navy interlocking frame, cut out with the 3rd to the largest frame and then line up and cut out with the 2nd to the largest frame.  Now they "interlock" perfectly!
