Valentine’s Day Stamp-a-Stack Project #5

This last project is a fun project – so many ideas and so little time :)  This uses the NEW Petal Cone Die for the Big Shot offered in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  Fun door hangers, or just a gift for someone very special filled with – what else CHOCOLATE!

 

Stamp Set:  Filled with Love

Card Stock:  Pretty in Pink, Love Impressions Specialty Designer Series Paper (121780, page 7 Occasions Mini 2011)

Ink:   Real Red

Embellishment:  Real Red 5/8" Satin Ribbon (117286, page 191)

Punch:  Petal Card (119273, page 202)

Big Shot:  Petal Cone Die (121810, page 15 Occasions Mini 2011),  Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impression Embossing Folder (117335, page 214)

Here's a quick tutorial on how to put the Petal Cone together

Step 1:  Cut out 2 petal cones in Pretty in Pink

Step 2:  Run both cones through the Big Shot in the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  Caution:  make sure BOTH pieces are run through the same way – otherwise they won't go together right (I speak from experience!!)

Step 3:  Add sticky strip on both tabs and on the top as shown in picture

 

Step 4:  Adhere cones together.  Fold down all 4 tops. Sticky strips keeps them down

 

Step 5:  Cut out the Love Impressions half scallop from the Petal Cone die and add to all 4 sides

 
Step 6:  Punch out the Petal card and stamp a 1" square with your sentiment.  Adhere to one side of the cone

 
Step 8:  I adhered a 7" piece of Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon on the inside with a small piece of Sticky Strip. 

Here are a couple more projects made with the petal cone die.  Candy dishes – or little boxes for special surprises

The flowers on the top are made with the new Fun Flowers Big L Die (121812, page 39 Occasions Mini 2011)
