Stampin’ Up 2018 Color Revamp! All you ever wanted to know
Are you reeling with all the new changes from Stampin' Up?
It's a LOT to take in, but I will try to explain it all right here right now
It's been five years since any major color changes and that was a color refresh
The Color Revamp includes
1. Retiring 13 core colors
2. Adding 10 new core colors
3. Bringing back six colors that were previously retired
Here are the core colors all together
Basic Black, Whisper White and Very Vanilla are one category now – called Basics.
Removing those from the Neutrals category has freed up space for some added "color"
In the Neutrals Collection, they retired Chocolate Chip and added Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow and Night of Navy!
Does Mossy Meadow sound familiar? That's because they have brought back six retired In-Colors

The new colors that were added are

And while they were doing this color revamp, they decided to update the ink pads!
Stampin' Up makes their own ink pads and the machines that make them have 15 years of longevity. That time was reached, so instead of having new machines with the same old ink pad, they decided to reformat them with improvements and then get the new machines!
The new pads are a bit smaller and thinner
They open very easily! And they won't fall apart
A defoamer has been added to the pad to help with the spotty problem!
All great, positive improvements!
They will still fit your color caddy!
If you have the old pads and intend to keep them, make sure you have refills to match as the refills for the new pads will be different
