Reverse Masking Technique; Easter Cards; Easter Friends Stamp Set

One of the demonstrations I did in class last month was Reverse Masking

I used the darling set called Easter Friends from the January-June Mini Catalog (page 27)

The ducks and the bunny are SO stinkin' cute!

For the reverse masking, I cut a circle using the Layering Circles Dies out of a piece of cardstock that was 5 1/4" x 4"

I then laid it over the front of the card base and secured it with some washi tape

I then used the Blending Brushes and blended some Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya ink

And there it is – a mask that gives a great background to any focal piece

I stamp the rabbit in Soft Suede and then colored in using a Soft Suede Blending pen

I added the sentiment and put on some of the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Quick card, but SO cute

And here's another one using the cute little duck

Pretty much the same products as above, except I colored the duck with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Blends and the grass with Granny Apple Green Blends

What fun that was!
