Pretty Peony

I'm so happy to have finally broken out this wonderful stamp set.  It's much prettier made up than sitting in the box 🙂

Here are three cards I made with this set tonight

Pp1

Card #1 Pretty Peony

Pp3

Stamp Set:  Pretty Peony (11119, page 88)

Card Stock:  Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White

Ink:  Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive

Punch:   Scallop Edge Punch

This set is a two-step stamping set.  It's fun and challenging to get the stamps aligned just right.  I didn't do too bad – should have used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, but I was too lazy to find it tonight.  Actually I like the "off center" look!!

Card #2 Pretty Peony

Pp4

Stamp Set:  Pretty Peony (11119, page 88), Sincere Salutations (105156, page 140)

Card Stock:  Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla

Ink:  Elegant Eggplant, Always Artichoke

Embellishments: Elegant Eggplant 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon (109039, page 186)

I'm afraid this is one of my all-time favorite cards.  Simple layout, but the colors really make it elegant (no pun intended).  The picture surely doesn't do it justice.  I need to set up a good place to take pictures – will try it again tomorrow and see if I can get a better picture!!

Card #3 Pretty Peony

Pp2

Stamp Set:  Pretty Peony (11119, page 88), Short & Sweet, (109369, page 146)

Card Stock:  Riding Hood REd, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Bella Rosa Designer Paper (112041, page 168)

Ink:  Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette

Embellishments:  Rhinestone Circle Fire Brads (109110, page 185)

This was a bit more work as I handcut each flower and set of leaves.  But it wasn't hard – the middle flower is popped up with dimensionals – hard to see in the picture!
