Mr. and Mrs. Frosty using the Envelope LIners Framelits

As promised yesterday, I'm sharing Mr. and Mrs. Frosty using the Envelope Liners Framelits Dies.   These are SO cute and fun to make.  I found this idea on Stampin' Connection (a site only for demonstrators).  Of course I changed them up a bit, but they are essentially the same!

Card Stock:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Gumball Green (for leaves), Red Glimmer Paper (121790, page 154) Season of Style Designer Series Paper (132340, page 23 Holiday Catalog)

Ink:  Real Red (for cheeks);  Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker

Punches:  1 1/4" circle (119861, page 182),  1" circle (119868, page 182); Petite Pennants Builder (122361, page 181); Bird Builder (117191, page 183); Itty Bitty Shyapes Punch Pack Circle (118309)

Big Shot:  Envelope Liners Framelits (132172, page 37 Holiday Catalog);  Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder (132174, page 22 Holiday Catalog);  Festive Flurries Framelits (132193, page 30 Holiday Catalog)

To make Mr. Frosty, first cut a card base out of Basic Black (or any color you prefer).  Click here to see Mr. Scarecrow and to see how to make the card base.

Next cut a piece of Whisper White with the middle Envelope Liner Framelit.  Then cut a piece of Basic Black for the hat.  Run this piece through the Big Shot in the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder.

Cut a piece of the red striped paper from the Season's of Style Designer Series paper 1" wide to fit the hat brim. 

Cut out one small snowflake with the Festive Furries Framelits using the Red Glimmer Paper.  Add to the hat brim with dimensionals.  Cut out the leaves in Gumball Green with the Bird Builder Punch and place on snowflake.  Cut out three circles with the Itty Bitty Punch Pack Circle and place on top of leaves.

Add eyes using the 1 1/4" white circles and 1" black irises and add with dimensionals.  Place the pumpkie pie nose (punched with the Petite Pennants Punch).  Draw the mouth with the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.

Card Stock:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Polka Dot Parade (Red) Designer Series Paper (126902, page 154)

Ink:  Real Red

Punches:  1 1/4" circle (119861, page 182),  1" circle (119868, page 182); Petite Pennants Builder (122361, page 181); Bird Builder (117191, page 183); 1/2" circle (119869, page 182); Scallop Edge Border (119882, page 181)

Big Shot:  Envelope Liners Framelits 132172, page 37 Holiday Catalog); Gift Bow Bigz L Die (129977, page 37 Holiday Catalog)

To make Mrs. Frosty, first cut a card base out of Basic Black (or any color you prefer).  Click here to see Mr. Scarecrow and to see how to make the card base.

Next cut a medium envelope liner with whisper white and also cut out the "hat" part with basic black. 

Cut a piece of Real Red Card Stock about 3/4" x 4 1/2" and punch with the Scallop Edge Border punch.  Mount this under the hat brim

Punch out the smaller bow and assemble and attach to hat

Punch out two 1 1/4" circles in Whisper White and 2 – 1" circles in Basic Black for the eyes.  Attach them with dimensionals.  Attach the pumpkie pie nose punched with the Petite Pennant Builder punch.  Punch out five 1/2" circles in Basic Black and attach for the mouth.  Using a sponge dauber and real red ink, make the cheeks.
