June Club Projects – Fun Fold Flap Card

I'm in love with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in the new 2020-2021 Annual Stampin' Up Catalog

If you haven't seen it, you must check it out (page 13)

For one of the projects we did in class in June (yes we were able to meet – social distancing, of course) is this great

fun fold card!  I received a similar one in a swap and just loved it!!

This is a fun fold flap card – the flap comes around and is held in place with the small sunflower!

Measurements

Just Jade Card Base 7" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"

Whisper White 5 1/4" x 4"

Just Jade "flap" 6" x 2 1/4" scored at 3"

Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper 5 1/4" x 2 1/2" and 2 3/4" x 2 1/8"

 

Here's a little tutorial for you

Add the 6" x 2 1/4" piece to inside of the card 

Adhere the Whisper White over 

Add the designer series paper to the front of the flap

Stamp the sentiment and cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies

Stamp the small sunflower and color using the Blends

Adhere so that the flap can tuck under – be sure and put dimensionals just on the "top" 

I stamped the Happy Birthday inside
