Hello Doily Emboss Resist

The new large background stamp, Hello Doily, is just beautiful and I've seen some gorgeous cards made with this stamp.  At our club meetings in October, we made this card.  The gals all loved it

IMG_0165_resizeStamp Set:  Hello Doily (122845, page 150), Grateful Greetings (116511, page 27)

Card Stock:  Naturals Ivory (101849, page 181), Soft Suede

Ink:  Versamark (102283, page 203), Clear Embossing Powder (109130, page 201), Soft Suede

Embellishments:  5/8" Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon (117291, page 195), Antique Brads (117273, page 198)

Punch:  Decorative Label (120907, page 209)

Emboss Resist Technique:  First stamp your image in Versamark.  Heat set Clear Embossing powder over stamped image.  Using a sponge Dauber (102892, page 203), tap your Soft Suede ink into the image.  Tap a few times then rub vigorously, so the ink will go down into the "uninked" areas.  We sponged around the outside of the image too, to give it depth and accent the doily.  Then rub over the image lightly with a kleenex to take off any ink residue from the image.

Easy, but very effective in highlighting your image!
