Floral Frames Birthday Card

So I started out with a St. Patrick's Day card and then decided to change up the colors, since not EVERYONE sends out St. Paddy's cards.  So this is the card we did at the card club this month.  LOVE how it turned out

Stamp Set:   Bring on the Cake (128490 W, 121958 C, page 14)

Card Stock Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper (132994, Occasions Catalog page 23); Brights Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stacks (130134, page 152)

Ink:  Wisteria Wonder

Embellishment:  Whisper White 3/8” Taffeta Ribbon (109070, page 173)

Big Shot:  Floral Frames Framelits Collection (127012, page 187); Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (117335, page 191)

So the white that makes the card base is cut with the largest Floral Frame Collection Framelits – you cut a piece of card stock 5 1/2" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and insert in the Big Shot using the Magnetic Platform.  Line up the largest framelit so that the top is just peeking over to make the fold.  Love this technique and you can apply that to most of the framelits to make a card base.

And you can see the card stands up nicely!!
