Emboss Resist – a favorite technique

I just had to case the Emboss Resist that Gretchen Barron shared recently.   I LOVE embossing and find I forget to do it!!  So…..here's 4 cards I made following Gretchen's idea and using a different stamp set and sentiments!!

 
Emboss Resist – wonder what THAT is?  LOL  Yep, me too.  Had to check out my files and remember how to do it.  It's very simple, but gives an elegant effect.

EMBOSS RESIST TECHNIQUE

Wipe your chosen card stock with the Embossing Buddy.  

Stamp your image in VersaMark. 

Pour clear embossing over your image and heat set with the Heating Tool.   

Using a sponge, rub ink over the embossed image.  The ink will not stick to the embossed image thereby making it "POP"!!  Beautiful
