Day #7 of my 25 Days of Christmas
I wanted to share a few cards I made using the Keepsake Ornament set – they don't have to all be actual ornaments (big grin) although those are so much fun.
Stamp Sets: Ornament Keepsakes (128048 W, 128051 C, page 3 Holiday Catalog), Mixed Medley (128054, page 39 Holiday Catalog)
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer (124005, page 160)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Embellishment: 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon (120992, page 172)
Punch: 3/4" Circle (119873, page 184)
Tools: Festive Paper-Piercing Pack (127857, page 30 Holiday Catalog)
The Silver Glimmer Paper is the 2nd layer mounted on the Crumb Cake Card Base. I find the best adhesive for our glimmer papers is Sticky Strip Tape (104294, page 177)
I first stamped the center ornament and then used the paper-piercing pack to outline it. I then stamped the other two ornaments – I used a ruler to make the "string"
The sentiment is from the Hostess Set Mixed Medley. I stamped the scallop – then the "Merry Christmas" and punched it out and added it it to the center of the scallop with dimensionals.
Pretty card and so easy to make. Oh I added some basic rhinestones to the center of the two ornaments – can't see them too well, but they do show up nicely on the card!
