Bloomin’ Love

And the next "holiday" we love making cards for is Valentine's!!  LOVE to share them with all my family, so I really need to get busy.  And the new stamp set called Bloomin' Love from the 2016 Occasions Catalog is just perfect for this holiday.  Have you seen the coordinating Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Dies?  Oh dear – to "DIE "for (pun intended!!).  That very fine filigree heart is just beautiful – especially cut using the new Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper!  That's something you will definitely have to get!  Check out all the projects shared in the catalog on pages 16-17.

The new die is SO easy to use

There are a couple of ways you can cut it out Use the Multipurpose platform and the Precision Base Plate.  

If you go with this option here is the "sandwich" for the Big Shot

With BOTH these options, it's recommended you run it 2-3 times through the Big Shot

Then you can use the brand new Sizzix Big Shot Die Brush to take out all the little parts.

While the die is still attached, run the brush over the die and the little pieces will just FALL out!

Pretty cool, eh?

The brush comes with the foam pad, so you can just pick up the die and transfer it to the pad and then brush!

I also used a little bit of the Clear Wink of Stella on the sentiment.  So sorry you can't see it in the picture, but you are going to LOVE this new way of adding glitter to your projects.  You can check out the two new Wink of Stella Glitter Brushes on page 24 of the 2016 Occasions Catalog!  Fun to use and NO MESS!
