Masking Paper offered by Stampin’ Up

Two of my customers recently asked me about the Masking Paper (found on page 149 of the Annual Catalog)

I had some, but had never used it, so off I went to experiment

If you have ever wanted to place something behind your main image, this is the item you need

I made this card using the Campology Stamp Set

See how the tent is "nested" inside the trees?

First stamp the tent about where you want the trees to sit

I used Early Espresso Ink

Then stamp the tent again on the Masking Paper

The Masking Paper has a seam down the center and when you peel that back, it's sticky

So you want to stamp on the side where the seam is

Once you have stamped and cut out your tent, take off the backing paper and place the tent over your stamped tent on the cardstock

Now stamp your trees (Garden Green ink) 

Next take off the masked tent and your tent is nested in the trees!
