Emboss Resist Technique

Do you like different techniques?  Me too and one of my very favorites is Emboss Resist

I was asked to do a class locally and it was held this afternoon and I wanted to share the cards we did

Emboss Resist packs such a WOW factor!

I used the Frosted Medallions stamp set that is new in the 2016 Holiday Catalog (page 37)

We didn't use it for a holiday card, but for birthday card!

Isn't that just stunning?

How to do the Emboss Resist?

Stamp your image in VersaMark – emboss with white embossing powder, then sponge over the image with a sponge dauber and whatever color ink you wish.  It just pops out at you!  I hope you'll try this great technique!

To make the ribbon ends on the ends of the sentiment, I used the Badge Punch – just slip the end of the piece into the top of the badge and clip!

These are very quick cards, but LOVE how they turned out and the fact that they are "snowflakes" but can be used for any time of the year!
