Treat Bags for Valentine’s

I just LOVE all the ideas there are for making treat bags and holders for Valentine's! I wanted to share some with you in case you need some quick ideas. These are quick and easy and will be appreciated by anyone receiving them!

First my daughter and I and her kids made these treats – I think we ended up making about 60 – 70 of them! We used Ghiradelli chocolates and Hershey's chocolates! What fun the kids will have giving them to their classmates!

To make this cute little Ghiradelli Chocolate holder you will need the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and a piece of Pink Pirouette Card Stock

Cut the card stock 5 1/2" x 2"

Score at 2 5/8" and 2 7/8"

Punch both ends with the Scallop Tag Topper

I ran the front through the Big Shot using the now retired Valentine's Embossing Folder (oops!)

I used glue dots to attach the chocolate inside the holder and then tied it closed with Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine

Here's another treat holder that holds a little MORE treats!!

I was able to put 5 Hershey's Kisses in this cute little treat holder also using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch

This treat holder is cut 6 1/2" x 2"

Score at 2 3/4" and 3 3/4"

Punch with the Scallop Tag Topper on both ends and fold up

Cut two pieces of card stock 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" and scored at 1/4" on each side. Add these two pieces once you have scored and folded (for keeping the candy inside). I used Stick Tape so it would stay closed well.

Cut a piece of designer series tape 9" x 1" and wrap around.

I made mine using Crumb Cake and just added some real red card stock, a doily and the darling little Bow using the Bow Builder Punch. I also made a tag with the You Plus Me Stamp Set. SO cute!
