Technique Tuesday for May Gingham Background with the Stripes Embossing Folder

I just absolutely LOVE Gingham and there is never enough of it out there for card making.  So…..I found this wonderful technique shared by Dawn O and we learned this technique.

The most wonderful thing is that you can have any color you want!!!  Love it!

Here's the sample we made in class

I cased this card from another demonstrator and instead of using Whisper White for the gingham, I used Old Olive and did the "Gingham" look on it!!

Stamp Set is Mouthwatering (WM 125675, CM 125677)  SO happy this set made it into the new catalog!!

Card Stock:  Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Always Artichoke.

Ink:  Always Artichoke, Melon Mambo

I used the wonder Melon Scented Embossing Powder (127034) and it REALLY smells wonderful
