Shaving Cream Technique with Sweet Citrus

She used the Shaving Cream Technique for her background

Can you see that "swirl" in the background?  Isn't that stunning

For this technique, you will need some shaving cream – remember not shaving gel!!  You need the cream

One way to keep from making a big mess, is to use a Stampin' Up stamp case

Put the shaving cream in one side – a little bigger than the piece you are going to ink up.

Add three or more colors of ink drops to your shaving cream and then using a plastic knife to swirl the ink

Once you have swirled one way, then swirl the other way – makes a beautiful background

On the above card, Jenna used Lemon Lime Twist, Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green

After the swirling process, then set your Basic White Cardstock in the shaving cream and lightly press down

Lift it up and using the plastic knife, scrape off the excess shaving cream

Once that is done, you can use a paper towel and wipe off any excess, and then set aside to dry completely
