Pinwheel Card

One of the demonstrations I shared at our club meetings in April were these darling and VERY eye-catching Pin Wheel cards.  I saw this on Dawn Olfcheske's blog and just had to share them!  Again I went a little crazy in making them……as usual!!

Isn't that just striking.  They are very easy to make and turn out really fun!!

Tools you will need

Stampin' Up Simply Scored Scoring Tool

Simply Scored Diagonal Plate

Bone Folder

Paper Snips

Start with a piece of Designer Series Paper that is 8" x 8"

Using the Diagonal plate, score all 4 sides at the 3" mark

TIP:  Be sure the side you want on the inside is flipped to the bottom

Using your paper snips, cut out all 4 "triangles" where the scores cross

Your piece should now look like this

Flip your piece over and score from the 1" down to the triangle

Do that on all 4 sides

Fold these sides

Then flip it over and fold up the 4 sides

Now fold in the 4 sides clockwise

The last side will be tucked UNDER the first side

Decorate as you want for the outside

When you add your embellishment, be sure and only add dimensionals to the right side so you can easily insert the last side under the first side!

The inside 

The card stock measures 4 1/8" x 4 1/8" and the Whisper White is 4" x 4"

There are so many possibilities with this fun fold!
