One more Faux Tile or Grid Technique Card

I absolutely love how this card turned out.  I saw something similar and just had to make it to go along with the Faux Tile technique.

Stamp Sets:  En Francais (109521, page 129); Elements of Style (118611 W, 120045 C page 113), Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370 W, 127802 C page 133

Card Stock:  Basic Black, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla

Ink:  Soft Suede, Black Staz-on, VersaMark, Clear Embossing Powder (109130, page 159)

Embellishment:  Basic Black 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon (119962, page 173)

Punches:   Scallop Edge Border (119882, page 183); Large Oval (119855, page 184) Scallop Oval (119856, page 184)

First step was to make my grid lines – I did them square at 1" apart.  I then stamped with the background stamp En Francaise in Soft Suede.  I then stamped the flowers in Black Staz-On.

Then I patted the whole piece with VersaMark and poured clear embossing powder over and heat set it.  Love the shiny look (which doesn't really show up good in the picture, but is really beautiful IRL!!)
