October Club Demonstrations: Joseph’s Coat Technique

We were able to meet this month for our club meeting

I shared the Joseph's Coat Technique (thanks Bruno Bertucci) for "bringing this technique back"

I made this card in class

This technique is so fun and even though it looks hard, it's NOT

Here's a little synopsis on how to do this technique

Whisper White paper cut 5" x 3 3/4"

Using sponge daubers, sponge colors on the Whisper White

Just randomly, but filling up the entire piece

It looks pretty bad, but just wait…..

Next step is to run your embossing buddy over the piece

Then stamp over the piece in VersaMark ink

Once that is done, emboss with Clear Embossing Powder

Next step is to use a Sponge Brayer and Pretty Peacock ink and sponge over the entire piece until you get the desired color

After you brayer it, then run a kleenex over the embossed areas

And BOOM – you have this beautiful piece

Isn't that stunning?
