Mother’s Day Shadow Box Card

I wanted to share this Mother's Day card which we made in our club meetings last week.

Supplies:

Stamp Set:  Easter Blossom s(w 121905, C 122057, page 17 Occasions Mini), Something to Celebrate (W 121897, C 121955, Page 5 Occasions Mini)

Card Stock:  2 – 5 ½” x  4 ¼” Very Vanilla,

1 – Pear Pizzaz   4 1/8” x 3 ¼

1 – Springtime Vintage Pear Pizzaz Striped  4” x 3 1/8”

2 – Pear Pizzaz 4 1/8” x 7/16”

2 – Springtime Vintage Pear Pizzaz Striped  4” x 3/8”

4 – Very Vanilla flowers cut from the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die (121812 page 39 Occasions Mini)

1 – Antique Brad

7” Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon

Big Shot:  3” Circle Original Die (122125, page 39 Occasions Mini)

 
Here's how to make this card 

Step 1:   Score 2 pieces of Very Vanilla at ½” and 1” on both short ends

 

Step 2:  Apply Pear Pizzaz DSP to Pear Pizzaz Card Stock and then to the center of one of the Very Vanilla Pieces with dotto

 

Step 3:  Line up the above piece on your die and run through the Big Shot

 

 
 

Step 4:  Put bottom piece of Very Vanilla under and draw circle with pencil

 

 

Step 5:  Stamp Silhouette girl inside circle toward the top.  Erase pencil mark.  Add piece of sticky strip to bottom and scrunch up ribbon across

 

Step 6: Adhere DSP and Pear Pizzaz card stock to front.  Fold on score lines.  Top piece fold 1” piece to the back and ½” score line to the front.  Fold back piece the opposite – adhere two pieces together with sticky strip

 

Step 7:  Add  sentiment on front above circle.

Step 8:  To make up flower, cut 4 small flowers with the Fun Flowers Big Shot die.  Run the flowers through the crimper 6-8 times.  Gently pull flowers apart.  Stack them up and adhere together with an Antique Brad.  Using a sponge dauber and Pear Pizzaz gently color the outside of the flower.  Scrunch up the flower and pull apart.  Add to front of card with Mini Glue Dots
