Monogrammed Vintage Journal

I saw this lovely Monogrammed Springtime Journal on Stampin' Connection the other day and just had to make it up for my hostess on Saturday.  All credit goes to Rochelle Gould.  She shared hers and I made different flowers, but used her idea totally.  Thanks for the inspiration Rochelle!!

 
I used the journal that Stampin' Up sells – added my crimped card stock flowers (thanks Cindi!!) and came up with this monogrammed journal.  I have to say it's really more impressive IRL that in the picture.

Here's a close-up of the flowers – and I will be adding a tutorial tomorrow on how to make these wonderful flowers!!

 
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Rose Red and Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper (121782, page 15 Occasions Mini 2011).

I covered the back of the journal with Springtime Vintage DSP.  I first covered the front with Very Vanilla and then layered 4 border punches from the bottom up!!  This was a FUN project.
