June Stampin’ Up Club Project – Black and White All Over
I found this beautiful card on my Stampin' Connection (a demo-only website for sharing wonderful ideas!!). I just had to share this with my club members and they LOVED it – and I know you will too. Thanks go out to Sally Trotter for this idea!

Just stunning with lots of EMBOSSING – my favorite technique!
Instructions:
Cut Basic Black Card Stock 8 ½” x 10 ½”. Score on the 10 ½” side at 3 ½” and 7”. Fold accordion style
Cut three pieces of Whisper White Card Stock 8 ¼” x 3 ¼”; Cut two pieces of Basic Black Card Stock 8” x 3”
Stamp Dahlia on one Whisper White piece (8 ¼” x 3 ¼”) in Black Staz-on. Add sentiment and adhere this piece to the center piece of your card base
Center Panel
Stamp Dahlia on Basic Black (I recommend using an Embossing Buddy for a clean emboss) with VersaMark and emboss with White Embossing Powder. See picture below for placement
Front Panel Back Panel
Stamp 4 dahlias in VersaMark on Vellum and emboss with white embossing powder. Cut out one large dahlia; cut another layer with the 2nd embossed dahlia and a third smaller center with 3rd Dahlia. Layer them together with dimensionals. Add to front basic black embossed piece
Cut out the 4th Dahlia and cut it in half and add it to the 2nd basic black embossed piece
Add front black embossed piece to Whisper White 8 ¼” x 3 ¼” and adhere to front panel adding ribbon under this piece. You will wrap the ribbon around the back of the card and tie in a bow
Add remaining black embossed piece to last Whisper White 8 ¼” x 3 ¼” piece and adhere to 3rd panel
