Hostess Gifts for May

I love making hostess gifts

I found some little notebooks on Amazon and even though they were cute, I enjoyed remaking the covers

I made each of my hostesses two of them – one for themselves and one to give as a gift

Of course I used new products from the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up Annual catalog

These little note books were fun to cover

I cut out a pieced of card stock – I didn't write down the measurements (DUMB!)

To make one yourself, add these measurements

Front measurement times 2 plus 1/4" PLUS the width of the spine

So if your notebooks measures 5" x 3"

3" x 2  = 6" plus 1/4" plus 3/8" (which was the spine) 

The heighth is 5" plus 1/4"

So your card stock wold be 6 5/8" x 5 1/4"

Score at 3 1/4" and turn and score again at 3 1/4"

Add a piece of designer series Paper to the front that would measure 4 3/4" x 2 3/4"

I made a little pocket on the left inside by cutting a piece of designer series paper 2 1/2" x 2"

I scored each side at 1/4" and added some Tear & Tape to the sides and bottom and attached

I added a few of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls, but it would be a great placed to add some stamps!

I covered the little note pad with designer series paper and then adhered it with Tear &Tape to the right inside
