Halloween Witch’s Boot
I've seen quite a few of these Witch's boots and just love them. So had to try my hand at one. They are really simple to make – and fun, fun!! Need a gift for a teacher? Wouldn't this just be the cutest?
Her boots are made with the Stocking Die from the Holiday Mini
Here's what I used
Card Stock: Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Frightful Sight Designer Series Paper (122351, page 185)
Punches: Word Window (119857, page 209), 1 3/4" Circle (119850, page 212)
Big Shot: Holiday Stocking Bigz L Die (124098, page 24 Holiday Mini), 3" Circle Originals Die (122125, page 220), Spider Web Textured Impression Embossing Folder (120889), Box #2 Bigz XL Die (114518, page 221)
Embellishments: Basic Rhinestones (119246, page 198)
Other Silver Foil Smooth Spritz (118771, page 203)
Instructions
1. Cut out two Holiday Stockings in Basic Black –
2. Cut out two 3" circles in Basic Black
3. Using the 1 3/4" circle punch, punch out about half a circle on one edge of the 3" circle. Attach the 3" circle onto the Holiday Stocking, lining it up so there is a sharp toe.
4. Run the two boots through the Big Shot in the Spider Web embossing folder. Be sure and turn one the opposite, so the spider webs will show on both back and front. They won't fit totally into the embossing folder, so leave the top portion out – it will be covered by the "cuff" of the show.
5. Lightly spray Silver Foil Smooch Spritz on each boot. Let dry a few minutes
6. Punch out two "cuffs" in Basic Black and two cuffs in Frightful Sight DSP. Attach these onto the top of the boot, black on the inside and DSP on the outside.
7. Punch out 4 Word Windows in Cajun Craze and cut them in half. Mount each 1/2 on sides of boots and add rhinestones
8. For heel, place both boots together and cut straight up about 1/2" into back and then cut at an angle to the previous cut
8. Cut out Box #2 with Big Shot in Basic Black. Assemble and use sticky strip to close all sides (even the top closing). Cut out one short end. Attached sticky to both long sides and mount in between boots. I added strips of Cajun Craze to back to resemble stockings!
