Grab Your Broom!! In just minutes……

Have you made your Witch's Broom yet?  Now you can in just a few easy steps.  I just fell in LOVE with this cute idea shared today by  Melissa Stout, a fellow demonstrator.   So I made up a few of them in just a few minutes.  I used pencils since that was all I had on hand, but you could use Black Licorice Twizzlers which would really please the little gobblins!!

I used the Howlstooth and Scaringbone Designer Series Paper (126906, page 24 Holiday Catalog)

Here's a quick tutorial – it will take me longer to type this than for you to make them 🙂

Cut a piece of designer series paper 2 1/2" x 12"

Draw a pencil line at the 1 1/2" mark

Run a piece of Sticky Tape above this pencil line

Cut randomly above and below the Sticky Tape making a fringe

Using the 1" x 8" Cellophane Bags (124134, page 161) add your pencil or Twizzler and seal shut

Remove the Sticky Tape and place pencil/twizzler and roll up

Flare the ends by tapping on a flat surface

Stamp a greeting and tie around the middle with Linen Thread (104199, page 173)
