Gatefold Window Card

Gatefold Window Card – I found this "technique" on Stampin' Connection and just had to do it!!  LOVE it!  You can see my previous card here and I just had to try it again making it a regular A2 sized card. 

Supplies

Stamp Sets:  Apothecary Art; Flower Shop

Card Stock:  Crisp Cantaloupe, Soft Suede; Venetian Romance Designer Series Paper

Ink:  Soft Suede, Crisp Cantaloupe

Embellishments:  5/8” Victoria Crocheted Trim; Large Basic Rhinestones; In-Color Boutique Details

Punch: Pansy

Big Shot:  Labels Collection Frmaelits

 

Instructions:

Stamp Apothecary Art stamp on Very Vanilla and cut out with the coordinating Labels
Collection Framelit (I used the 3^rd from the smallest)

Cut Soft Suede with the Labels Framelit – 4th from smallest for the frame

Cut Crisp Cantaloupe card base 4 ¼” x 11”.  Score on the 11” side at 2 ¾” and 8 ¼”

Cut Venetian Romance DSP 5 ¼” x 4” (3 pieces)

Fold card base on score lines.  Add the 4^th from the smallest Labels Framelit inside the card base lining it up in the center with cutting side UP.  Add a piece of the 5 ¼” x 4” Venetian Romance DSP over the top and run through the Big Shot

    

 Move the framelit to the top of the DSP and
trace around with a pencil.

  

 Using snips, cut the dsp exactly in half. You are also going to remove a little bit of paper from the
top and bottom where it joins. This will keep the border continuous around the card. I trimmed about 1/8" from either side.

  

 Adhere the dsp to the front of the card base

 Cut another framelit in the 2^nd  5 ¼” x 4” piece of DSP and repeat steps 6 and 7 and adhere to the inside of the card

    

 Add the 3^rd 5 ¼” x 4” piece of DSP to the inside of the card and adhere the sentiment

 
  

Finish your card by adding Crocheted Trim, In-Color Boutique and two pansies on the front
