Dragonfly Dreams Swap Card – 2017 Occasions Catalog Swap Samples

I have a few more swaps to share which I know you are going to enjoy!!

The picture does NOT do this card justice.  You can't see the beautiful detail of the Dragonflies!  

LaVonne shared the "Watercolor Puddle" technique she used on the dragonflies (I had to chuckle at this name!!)

She used Pool Party and Old Olive ink refills and smeared them on an E acrylic block.  She then spritzed the block with water and  dabbed the dragonflies in the watercolor puddle.  She checked them and then did it again to fill in the blank spots.  Once these were dry she used Clear Wink of Stella and painted them –  and then embedded them back into the card front she had cut them from.   Pretty cool technique which I really look forward to trying!!
