Curvy Keepsake Box Pumpkin!

What fun – we made these pumpkins using the Curvy Keepsake Box at our club meetings in September.  They are SO quick and easy to make and appropriate for ANY occasion.  I've been making tons of them and will be sharing them over the next week of so….you MUST add this darling Thinlit to your collection!

Here's a quick tutorial

1.  Cut out two of the Curvy Keepsake pieces in Pumpkin Pie Card Stock.  Cut an 8 1/2' x 6" piece of card stock.  You can get one box out of this piece.  CAUTION:  Make sure you thinlit is placed on the Magnetic Platform in the following manner

The reason I say this, as I put it the other way and warped my Thinlit!!  I don't want you to do that!  I can still use it, but it did warp because it just a bit too large to bit through the Big Shot if you put the longer piece going east and west!!

You can get two pieces in this manner

2.  Using the long stamp from the Work of Art Stamp set, stamp in Pumpkin pie ink on each piece

3. Line up the two pieces with matching ends opposite each other.  Turn the top piece over and add sticky tape to the center section.  Adhere the two pieces together

4.  to make the face, cut out three triangles.  I used the Tree Punch.  I marked the punch so all the triangles would be uniform!

5.  For the mouth, I used the Postage Stamp Punch – punched out a square and then used the small Oval punch and punched one side

 

6.  Attach eyes, nose and mouth to one side

7.  Fold up the two rounded pieces together and bring one of the longer pieces up and over the curved handles

8.  Fill with candy and then bring up the other side and lock into place

9.  Add Mossy Meadow 3/8" Satin Ribbon tied in a bow and you have a DARLING little candy treat holder!!
