Brusho Crystal Colour – fun fun!
I have to admit I'm often intimidated by new products!
In fact I'm ALWAYS intimidated by them!
So I was thrilled when one of our gals used the new Brusho Crystal Colour
Have you noticed this new product in the 2018 Occasions Catalog (page 26)
They are watercolor ink crystals and are great for watercolor washes and designs.
They make wonderful backgrounds!!
Here's the card Chris shared with us
WOW – I was impressed and now want to play with the Brusho Crystals
Just a precaution – they VERY easily make a big mess – so I've seen some demos put a hole in the top of the bottle use a push pin – and then you can just shake them out – you don't need to even open the lid!!
We started with a piece of Watercolor Paper
We spritzed water on the paper and then shook on the Brusho – it just pools up and spreads out – SO COOL!
One thing we did was to place the paper on a piece of poster board and taped it down with painter's tape
Then just use a paper towel and dab the extra water
You can spritz after shaking on the Brusho and that helps it to "run" around on the paper
When you are satisfied with your look then just use the heat tool to dry it (dries really quickly!!)
We then stamped the butterfly from Beautiful Day and embossed it with white embossing powder
Can you see the little "bubbles" in the picture? I totally missed those when I placed my order (page 33)
They are clear adhesive-backed epoxy accents in teardrop and circle shapes
LOVE how this card turned out
