Beautiful Emboss Resist
I haven't done any emboss resist for a while, so when I saw a card recently, it prompted me to get the out gun and try it again! Heat gun that is!! What fun! I must do some more of these soon. Hard to resist!!
Stamp Set: Vintage Vogue (WM 1176990, CM 118598, page 26 Occasions Mini 2010), With All My Heart (SM 118134, CM 118623, page 12 Occasiosn Mini 2010)
Card Stock: Bashful, Night of Navy, Glossy White (102599, page 159)
Ink: Old Olive, Cameo Coral, Versamark (102283, page 190), WhiteEmboss Powder (109132, page 188)
To make this card I stamped the vines in Versamark, sprinkled White Embossing powder over and then heat set with the Heat Tool (100005, page 188). I then used a sponge dauber (102892, page 192) and sponged over the vines. This is the "resist" part because the ink won't adhere to the embossed area!! Pretty cool (or hot whichever way you want to go). Just be careful as the heat tool gets to something like 600 degrees F. If you need to, use a pair of tweezers! After sponging I stamped the small flower from the Vintage Vogue set, but them out and mounted them on top of the vines. Very simple, but really elegant (IRL)!

GORGEOUS Jan!!! I am doing this technique im club this month, have not played with it in FOREVER and your sample is just beautiful!
