Another Father’s Day Idea

I love having a holiday to make cards for……gives me the push to get a lot done :)  So here's another Father's Day card using the Dapper Dad Stamp Set that will be soon gone with the Spring Catalog (May 31st)

P5250065The watch in this stamp set, is so "masculine"  I stamped it in Early Espresso and then stamped it again in Not Quite Navy.  I punched out the clock face with the 1" circle punch.  I then ran a large Soda Pop Top through the Big Shot (I'll give the sandwich below) and smashed it and added the clock face in the center. I added some Crystal Effects to make it "shine"

Much better IRL (in real life)

  1. Hi Jan! Did I miss the sandwich for running the soda pop tops thru the Big Shot? I looked and looked – maybe looking in the wrong place??? Thanks for sharing your great ideas!!

  2. HI Pat
I must have skipped that step (oh dear!!)
    Here’s the sandwich:
    Multipurpose platform
Thick cardboard (I use either 2 pieces of the DSP cardboard or the thick cardboard that comes with the Glimmer Paper (should be about 1/8” thick)
Soda pop with the bottom up and the top facing the cardboard
    Acrylic pad
Run this through the Big Shot – smashes the pop tops perfectly!
