April Club Project – Reverse Masking

I wanted to share our April Club projects with you

This first technique, Reverse Masking, was shared recently by Dawn Griffith

I loved her projects!!

I have a little tutorial for this, plus you can view my video of all the April Club Projects below

 

Cut two pieces of Whisper White Card Stock 5" x 3 3/4"

Using the Layering Ovals dies (largest die) cut out oval from one Whisper White piece

Layer the oval over the full card – use some removable adhesive to adhere them together

Sponge Coastal Cabana ink over one side

Sponge Highland Heather ink on the other side

Remove the "mask" (can be saved for another time) 

Stamp images in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink

Using the 3rd from largest oval cut out another oval

Adhere the card piece to the front of card base with Stampin' Dimensionals

Slip the center into the oval and adhere directly to the card base

Isn't that neat!!

Everything is the same as above except the stamp set and dies
