Custom Cookie Box in the January-April 2026 Mini Catalog

I had a customer ask me how to make the cookie box on page 45 of the January-April 2026 Mini Catalog

I called Stampin’ Up! to see if they had the measurements. No they didn’t. So I did some research and found a video from Donna Griffith who worked for Stampin’ Up.

So I ended up making a bunch of them as they were SO fun to make!!

Here’s the one I made using the products that Stampin’ Up did in the catalog

This box measures 5″ x 5″ and is 1 1/4″ deep. So you can put one large cookie in it or several small ones.

I did a video (see below) on how to make the boxes and shared a bunch of other ones I made using current designer series papers.

I had SUCH fun.

And the neat thing is that Donna shared how to make a box to your measurements. She had a neat little “calculator” on how to figure the measurements

Worksheet

I will show you how to make a customer box with you own measurements

This is the worksheet

Just add your figures into the blanks and you will come up with your measurements

Bottom of box

First decide what size you want the box – mine are all 5” square

Choose the width 5″

Choose the depth      1 1/4″ x 2 = 2 1/2″

Add the two together = 7 1/2″

Cut your cardstock 7 1/2″ x 7 1/2″

BE SURE AND CUT 1/16” OF AN INCH OFF BOTH SIDES BEFORE SCORING

Then score on all 4 sides at 1 1/4″

Top of Box

Same idea

Choose the width 5″

Choose the depth 7/8″ x 2 = 1 3/4″

Add the two together = 6 3/4″

Cut your designer series paper 6 3/4″ x 6 3/4″

Then score on all 4 sides at 7/8″

If you want a window in your box, cut out the center of the top. I used Stylish Shapes Dies and the largest square die. Since the bed of the Die Cut & Emboss Machine is just over 6″, you will need to fold down at least one side for the DSP to go through the machine

All that’s left is to assemble your box.

Here’s my video on how to assemble the box
