Adoption Day!

I don't normally share personal stuff on my blog, but since I'm including some cards, I thought I would share our special day.

Our son-in-law and daughter Trevor and Heidi started doing fostering about three years ago.  Their first foster baby was three months old when they got him and he left to go to his grandparents permanently at nine months.  That was hard on them, but it was the best placement for him.  A few month later, they were called to take an  infant home from the hospital at 2 days old.  That was in April 2007 – now Donny is 2 years and 4 months and today we were witness to his formal adoption.  He's now a permanent part of our family and we are so thrilled.
