Big Shot Petal Cone Die

The Petal Cone is SO versatile.  And I cannot believe some of the projects that I have seen!!

At our Big Shot class in Portland on April 30th I showed a number of projects using the Petal Cone Die.  These Ice Cream Cones were SO fun to make

Stamp Set:  Pretty Postage (W 123095, C 123097, page 11 Summer MIni)

Card Stock:  Chocolate Chip. Softr Suede, Whisper White

Ink:  Chocolate Chip

Punch:  2 1/2" Circle (120906)

Big Shot:  Petal Cone Die (121810), Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (119976, page 214)

To make this card, I cut out one petal cone – then ran it through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I added sticky strip to the tab and folded it over making the cone.  I then cut another petal cone in Whisper White and cut off one cone.  I stamped the greeting about 1" below the top.  I cut out 4 of the scallop shapes from the die in Chocolate Chip and then rounded the tops on 3 of them with the 2 1/2" circle punch.  I left one and adhered it to the top of the insert about 1/2" (or to the first scallop!)

Easy, fun card – especially good for husbands or kids, right?

And here's another one
