Easter Basket

Just a quick share

We had a workshop last night and I made up these little baskets for everyone

Brenda Q shared this cute little basket and I just couldn't resist

Here's a quick tutorial just in case you need to make a few for tomorrow

Cut a piece of card stock 6 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Score on the 2" side at 1 1/2"

Turn and score on the 6" side at 2", 3" and 5" JUST TO THE ABOVE SCORE LINE

Then score at the 6" all the way

 

Next using the Basket Weave Embossing Folder, you will want to emboss just the unscored part

Your scored part will fall outside the folder

Next cut the bottom tabs just to the score line

Cut out the small piece at the 6" score line

Gently curl the top embossed area, so that the top of the basket has a rounded finish

Fold on the score lines and add some Tear & Tape to the tab and adhere to make the basket

   

Next step is to add Tear & Tape to one of the rectangle bottom pieces

   

Fold that piece in and the two tabs in and adhere

Then add Tear & Tape to the other rectangle and adhere down

Run a 6" x 1/2" piece of card stock through the Basket Weave Embossing Folder for the handle

I added a mini glue dot to the ends and adhered inside the basket

   

I stamped the circle and little rabbit from A Good Day stamp set and cut it out with a 1 1/4" circle punch

Then cut a 1 3/8" scallop circle and added it to the front

I added some Sweet Soiree Ready Shreddie and, of course, some candy!!
