Watercolor Wash Technique

You might have seen my post yesterday where I used the Watercolor Wash Technique.  I first saw this technique on Sara Douglass' facebook page.  Sara is Stampin' Up's CEO and even though she's a busy lady, she loves to take time out and share something fun!

This is SUCH a fun technique and I shared it with my club members this last week.

I kinda went crazy and made lots of card fronts – then I had to finish up the cards!!

I started with my "H" acrylic block and added 3/4 colors and 1-2 drops of reinker.  I then squeezed a little water from the Aquapainter and then just "painted the card fronts. I did use Shimmery White Cardstock which worked very well.

Watercolor wash

Really a fun technique and the neat thing is that every background comes out different!!

I'll share the "blues" cards I did and then maybe tomorrow you can peek back and see the pinks

I love the silver with the blues
