Technique Tuesday “S” & “T”

Yesterday was Technique Tuesday.  I really worked the girls, but we did have fun!!  We started out with "S" and I chose Shattered Glass

This was fun for me as I had never used the Glassy Glaze Embossing Enamel.

Here's the card we made

 

Stamp Set:  To You and Yours (111706, page 45)

Card Stock:  Kraft, Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla

Ink:  Riding Hood Red, VersaMark (102283, page 193), Glassy Glaze Enamel (100477, page 190), Basic Black Ink, Stampin' Write Markers (for window and doors)

Embellishments:  Alpine Ribbon Originals (113100, page 23 2008 Holiday Mini)

With this technique, you stamp your image and color it.  Cover your picture with VersaMark and then a layer of Glassy Glaze Enamel.  Heat set.  Repeat this three times.   Let cool and then "break" your picture and you will get the "shattered" look.  You can sponge over the cracks to make them show up.

I stamped the Vellum Card Stock with snow flakes and let it dry and then attached my stars.
