Tasty Trucks Action Card

Action cards are SO fun – to make and to give.

Brenda Quintana shared this darling card and I loved showing it to my club members this week

Kind of hard to see the sentiment, but it says

"Happy Birthday"

And…….

HERE'S THE CAKE!!

Isn't that just so clever. What fun to share this with someone special!!

I wanted to give you the measurements and a little bit of how to make this card

Card Base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Front panel for stamping the truck Shimmery White Cardstock 5 1/2" x 2 1/4"

Panel for stamping the cake Shimmery White Cardstock 4 1/4" x 2"

Panel for the cake piece to hide in 4 5/8" x 2 7/8  Scored on the two long sides and one short side at 3/8" 

I used the watercolor pencils and a blender pen to color the truck and the cake.  You will want to stamp the truck and the cake in about 1" from the left side

Here's the inside so you can see where to put the pocket

I added Tear & Tape on the three sides and folded over the long sides and then the short side.  I attached it to the inside making it even top and bottom.  Now you have your little "pocket" for the hidden message.

You will want to cut a "thumb" hole by using the 1" circle punch and line it up and put it in to the half way mark and punch

Now you can slip your hidden message into the pocket – I used the 1/8" Handheld Circle punch and added the ribbon pull

Isn't that fun?
