Simple Pop-Up Card

I have always wanted to do a Pop-Up card, but they intimidated me.  But I found this beautiful one on SCS and followed the link to Ruth's blog and it was definitely simple – even I could do it. So this was one of the Make-'n-Takes at our club meeting.

And here's the ingredients

Stamp Set:  Greenhouse Garden, (113824, page 94), On Your birthday (111664, page 139)

Card Stock:  Lovely Lilac, Almost Amethyst, Whisper White, Cottage Wall Designer Paper (115671, page 160)

Ink:  Lovely Lilac, Lavendar Lace

Embellishments:  5/8" Whisper White Satin Ribon

Punch:  Scallop Edge (112091, page 186)

The Greenhouse Garden stamp set is a two-step stamping set.  This means that you can stamp with two stamps and get a wonderful effect.  When you use the two-step stamping, you need to start with the darker color and then use the lighter color.  I stamped the inside of the petunia with Lovely Lilac and then the main flower with Lavender Lace.  Beautiful effect.
