September Stampin’ Up Club Hostess Gifts

I just LOVE making handmade hostess gifts for my hostesses and this month I chose these darling little "Purse Papers"  An online friend sparked my interest in these (thanks Veronica!) and I just had to make some!  Are you always scrambling around like me in your purse for something to write on?  Here's the answer for yourself or a friend!!  Maybe your co-workers need something like this!!

So here it is closed

and open……

Perfect for sliding into your purse and you now have a place to write down notes!!

Stocking Stuffers???  Yep!  Perfect and quick and easy to make

I stamped all over Whisper White card stock, but no reason why you couldn't just add some designer paper!!

I started with a template shared online by Maureen (sorry I couldn't find her last name!)

Step by Step Instructions

1.  Download PDF template file. Print onto heavy cardstock. Cut out template and “Purse Papers” frame, making sure to cut off black lines so they don’t show on finished project. Score template on dotted lines according to template instructions.

2.  Flip template over and add sticky strip tape to flap.

3.  Stamp template with various inks and images of your choice.

4.  Fold folder on scored lines. Remove plastic liner from tape and adhere flap to back of folder.

5.  Cut up copy paper 5" x 3" and stamp (about 12 pieces fit nicely)

6.  Stamp a sentiment onto the inside of folder. Tuck papers into folder.

7.  Decorate front of folder. Add embellishments if desired. Tie ribbon around folder using a flat knot so it can easily slide off and on the folder.

See?  So simple and easy and yet a wonderful gift!!
