Every month for our club meetings I try to show a technique or a new fun fold

This month I found a great idea shared by Lisa Freeman

This is the "masking technique"

Very simple, but really effective, don't you think?

I used the Forever Fern stamp set and stamped the leaves in Balmy Blue, Highland Heather Mint Macaron

But first I used a piece of Post-it 658 Labeling & Cover-Up Tape

This is the coolest tape (recommended by Lisa)

I placed the tape over the center of the card front and then stamped.

Once I removed the tape, there was a great place to add a sentiment!

Don't you just LOVED it

Quick and simple and could be used with any stamp set and color combination

I used a piece of Whisper White Thick Card Stock cut 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

I added a piece of the Post-it tape (about 7")
