Quick Gift Covered Note Pad

My sister wanted to make some quick gifts; so I decided to make one to help her with the measurements.

I had a really nice pad of paper which I had purchased some time ago.

I added some cardstock, designer paper and ribbon and had a quick gift

  
To make this just measure your pad and add 1/4" for the fold.  I added 1/8" on all sides.  I scored the center, added sticky tape to the pad and stuck it down.  Then cut my designer paper and some whisper white card stock – wrapped the ribbon around and in about five minutes I had a neat little note book!!

My pad of paper was 3 3/4" x 8 3/4".  I cut my card stock  8 1/4" x 9".  I scored at 4" and then turned the paper and scored again at 4".  That left 1/4" in the center that is the fold. 

Simple and yet added a lot to the pad of paper!
