Polished Stone Technique

It's been years since I have done the Polished Stone Technique

This is a great way to add a background to your creations – easy and SO effective

Here's the card I shared

Isn't that background great?

This is such a fun and easy technique!

First you will need some Glossy Card Stock cut to whatever you want your background to be

Start with a cotton ball and some Rubbing Alcohol

Add a few drops of rubbing alcohol to the cotton ball

Then choose three ink refills.

I used Old Olive, Pear Pizzaza and Crumb Cake

Add drops of the reinkers to the cotton ball

TIP:  use more of the light and less of the darkest  I used 4 drops of the lighter and 3 drops of the darker colors

Dab the cotton ball around on your Glossy Card Stock until you get the desired background you want

Let dry – doesn't take long – just about 15 seconds.  The colors will blend together as they dry

And that's all for your background – just add some stamping to the background

I used Tuxedo Memento Black Ink!
