Halloween Pumpkin Lollies

These Lollies are SO fun to make.  Have you tried them yet?  The new Simply Scored Scoring Tool by Stampin' Up makes these SO easy to make.

I saw one similar to this from Laura Hafke and just had to try it.

For these lollies (or medallions or rosettes as they are also called), I cut pieces about of designer series paper.  I'll give measurements below.  I scored at 1" across the 12" width and then turned the paper over and scored at the 1/2" mark across the paper.  That makes it much easier to accordian fold.

I used Sticky pages and cut out the scallop circle from the Scallop Circles #2 Bigz Die.  I also cut out Pumpking Pie scallop circles, attached the sticky pages to the scallop circle and adhered it to the back of the lollie.  I did that on all th elayers and then attached them together.

For the "stem", I rolled up a piece of Early Espresso card stock and fastened it with sticky strip and then cut down to about 1/2" to the bottom.  The leaves are made by running a piece of folded card stock through the Crimper and then cutting out "footballs" on the fold.  The "ribbons" are just a 1/4" piece of early espresso card stock rubbed with the bone folder to break up the fibers and then through the crimper – makes them curl really nice.

Supplies:

Card Stock:  Brights Collection Pattersn Designer Series Paper Stack in Pumpkin Pie (117155, page 186), Old Olive (for leaves), Early Espresso for Stems

Big Shot:  Scallop Circles #2 (113469, page 222)

Tools:  Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334, page 7 Holiday Mini)

Measurements:

Top/Bottom Layers:  Cut one strip 1 1/2" x 12"

2nd and 9th Layers:  Cut 2 strips 2" x 12".  After scoring each strip, I accordian folded one and on the 2nd strip I turned it around and accordian folded it the opposite way.  This makes them very easy to attach together.

3rd and 8th Layers: Cut 2 strips 2 1/4" x 12"

4th and 7th Layers:  Cut 2 strips 2 1/2" x 12"

5th and 6th layers:  Cut 2 strips 2 3/4" x 12"

Then I cut out Scallop Circles #2 (113469, page 222) with the Sticky Pages (114300, page 216) And attached them in between the layers.
