Flower Pot
Again I promised my gals these instructions would be up on the internet. I'm really sorry it's taken me so long. But here they are.
I made this as a demo at the club meeting – these are so fun to make!
Here's the "card"
Cut a piece of Dusty Durango 9" x 3 1'2"
Score at 2" and 5 1/2"
Fold as above – the 2" fold mountain and the 5 1/2" score line into a valley fold
Using Eyelet Border Punch, punch at the top above the 2" fold
Fold the cardstock on the 5 1/2" score line and line up on the paper cutter with the 2" score line on the cutting edge and the bottom on the 1/2" line. Cut.
Turn over the cut the other side. Now you have your flower pot
For texture on the pot, I used the Texture Plate Perfect Details (115962, page 195) on the bottom. I also used the Texture Plates Kit #4 above the Eyelet Border. I then tied 1/2" Dusty Durango Dotted Grosgrain Ribbon around the folded down 2" piece. This holds that piece down.
Cut a piece of Dusty Durango card stock 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" and a piece of Whisper White card stock 4 1/4" x 2 1/4"
I added a piece of Dusty Durango designer prints cut 3/4" x 2 1/4" to the bottom of the piece and stamped the sentiment from For All You Do (115360, page 118) and stamped over that with the butterfly from this set. I stamped off on my grid paper and then stamped over the sentiment, so it can be read through!
I cut out three Scallop Circles in whisper white and cut them into the center with my paper snips. I then added the little brown buttons from Button Latte (114333, page 181) with Mini Glue Dots. I cut out two leaves with the Little Leaves Sizzlits in Olive Green and adhere them with sticky tape under the flowers.
