Fancy Folds Card Class #2 Tunnel Card
Here is the 2nd card we did on Saturday. I received this idea from my good friend, Diane Winter. She sent me the directions – I just changed the card to use the Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper. Just LOVE this paper.

Stamp Set: Charming (WM 116519, CM 125829, page 136), Elements of Style (WM 118611, CM 120045, page 134)
Card Stock: Marina Mist, Pink Pirouette, Beau Chateau (122357, page 184)
Ink: Marina Mist
Punches: Lace Ribbon Border (122362, page 211), 1 ¼” Circle (119861, page 212), 1” Circle (119868, page 212)
Embellishments: Basic Rhinestones (119246, page 198)
Big Shot: Square Lattice Embossing Folder (119976, page 218)
Measurements:
Marina Mist Card Stock For card Base: 5 ½” x 8 ½”; Cut 1 5” x 3 ¾”; Cut 1: 2 5/8 x 1 7/8
Pink Pirouette Cut 1: 5 x 4 ¼” ; Cut 1: 5 ¼” x 4”; Cut 1: 2 7/8” x 2 1/8”
Whisper White Cut 1: 2 3/8” x 1 5/8
Beau Chateau 8 ¼” x 5 ¼”
Instructions:
- Fold 8 ½ x 5 ½ Marina Mist card stock in half.
- Score and lightly fold the Pink Pirouette 5 x 4 ¼ card stock. Stamp flower image in the center of the card stock using marina mist classic Ink. Stamp again on scraps and cut out the center flower. Add basic rhinestones. Adhere to center of marina mist card.
- Fold Beau Chateau in half. Cut an oval in the middle of the print paper. Fold from the side into the center on both sides of the printed piece making a mountain in the middle.
- Adhere print paper to the inside of the marina mist card sock. You will bring it in about a ¼ inch on both sides creating the tunnel and you will see the printed flower in the center through the oval whole.
- Punch two pieces with the Lace Ribbon Punch in Marina Mist 5 ¼” wide.
- Stamp “For You” on white card stock and punch with the 1” punch. Punch out a 1 ¼” circle with Pink Pirouette and adhere behind words. Apply with dimensionals to inside of card
- Front of card : Run Marina Mist 5” x 3 ¾” through Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. Apply Pink Pirouette 5 ¼” x 4” piece to front of Marina Mist Card Base and then apply Marina Mist piece run through the Big Shot.
- Punch with Lace Ribbon Punch and Pink Pirouette 3 ¾” wide. Apply over Marina Mist
- Stamp saying from Charming Set and sponge around edges with Marina Mist. Layer Pink Pirouette, Marina Mist and Whisper White
I just love this card – especially love using the Beau Chateau and the Charming Stamp Set together. They compliment each other SO well.
